Visuals have also been tightened up in everything from the models to foliage and other landscapes, while the HUD features additional modules and quality-of-life features. So many of the changes are so tangibly brilliant that you'll be shocked you've been playing the game for this long without it.

The Witcher 3 Mods Are Keeping The Game Alive

The fact remains that The Witcher 3 has been given years of extra longevity thanks to the dedicated modding community that calls the game home. The sequel is undoubtedly exciting, but there really is plenty more fun to be had with the last game before The Witcher 4 eventually arrives at some point in the next few years.
