Netflix's is back with a trip to Italy and a baby along for the ride.

Season 1 of with Nick (Steve Carell) shockingly dying and his girlfriend Ginny (Erika Henningsen) sharing that she is pregnant. Nick's ex-wife Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver), Kate (Tina Fey), Jack (Will Forte), Danny (Colman Domingo), and Claude (Marco Calvani) promise to help Ginny and be there for her moving forward.

Netflix has now released a trailer for season 2 of The Four Seasons. In the aftermath of the group's devastating loss, they continue to uphold their tradition of taking four vacations a year, with one during each season. This time, Ginny and Nick's baby is accompanying them, and their travels include Italy, the Jersey shore, and upstate New York. Check out the trailer below:

While is returning to some familiar vacation spots from season 1, Italy is a new location for the series. The country's uniquely stunning landscapes and sightseeing will be a change of pace from upstate New York, the disastrous tropical trip planned by Ginny, skiing during New Year's Eve, and going to a college campus in the fall.

A bigger change than Italy, though, will be Nick's absence and having his and Ginny's baby traveling with the group. Time has passed, but they will still be grieving Nick, and it will be difficult to go on new adventures without him. Meanwhile, both domestic and international travel can be challenging when pregnant and after the baby is born. This will fundamentally change the vacation experience that the characters have come to know, and inevitably affect the various romantic relationships and friendships.

Season 2 will consist of eight 30-minute episodes, with each vacation being its own arc. The first two episodes are helmed by members of the main cast, as episode 1 is directed by Domingo and episode 2 is directed by Fey. Robert Pulcini directs for episode 3, Tracey Wigfield for episode 4, Shari Springer Berman for episodes 5 and 6, and Lang Fisher for episodes 7 and 8.

Fey and Fisher are the co-creators and co-showrunners, along with being writers and executive producers. Alan Alda is a producer on the series after directing, writing, and starring in the 1981 The Four Seasons movie. He played Jack in the film and appeared in season 1 of the Netflix series as Anne's father, Don. It is unconfirmed whether he will appear in season 2.

For season 1, were generally positive, leading to an overall "Certified Fresh" critics' score of 78% on Rotten Tomatoes. Viewership was also high, as it was the number one English language show on the streaming platform during its first two weeks, in which it received a total of 24.4 million views. This led to a quick renewal, as season 1 was released on May 1, 2026, and it was announced on May 14 that the show would be coming back for another season.

season 2 comes to Netflix on May 28.
