is undoubtedly a brilliant game in the eyes of almost everyone who has played it, and it continues to fascinate a portion of gaming's global consciousness to this day, despite releasing almost eight years ago at this point.
That said, many of the game's bigger fans have been through everything the single-player modes have to offer, with sticking by their fairly baffling decision to not provide any major DLC in the intervening period. Fortunately, the multiplayer is still going strong, and the developer continues to roll out events that are worth participating in if you're looking for new goodies for your character.
Over on the official Rockstar , you can find their breakdown of the latest of those events, which centers on Trader Sales, and there are a bunch of time-limited rewards you can pick up if you get in there before the whole thing draws to a close on May 4. The very bit that you'll want to be aware of, though, is, "April 21 – 27: Craft an Item at Gus’ Shop to receive a Reward for the North Tumbleweed Treasure Map."
The following week you can pick up the Shaffer Chaps by logging in on two different days between April 28 - May 4. The fun doesn't stop there either, with 3x RDO$, Gold, and XP on Call to Arms and 5x rewards from Fishing, as well as 3X RDO$, XP, and Role XP on all Trader Sales throughout.
Completing five Trader Sales also rewards the Fortune Buckle, completing all your Trader Daily Challenges grants access to the Tennessee Walker Camp Flag, and prominent Traders who reach Rank 20 will receive the Burdall Hat. You've also got 24 hours to take part in the Hardcore Public Enemy Series, before it changes to the Hardcore Saint Denis Series, again between April 28–May 4.
Lastly, there's another community-inspired outfit available via participating Tailors or by ordering the following pieces from the Wheeler, Rawson and Co. Catalogue for free through May 4.

Given that we aren't ever getting any DLC for Red Dead Redemption 2, and a sequel isn't likely to follow for years to come (if ever), Red Dead Online is going to be our best way to get more cowboy fun for a while yet. Let's just hope Rockstar really manages to deliver the goods with , and then waiting shouldn't be particularly painful.
