Once upon a time, Netflix unveiled a teaser ahead of its new adaptation's release.

Netflix's adaptations span far and wide, and there are hundreds of adaptations on the streaming service. The streaming giant has also produced a few notable Western series and movies, including The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, The Harder They Fall, The Power of the Dog, The Abandons, Concrete Cowboy, and Godless.

Streaming giant Netflix has officially adapted a 43-year-old Western series, Little House on the Prairie, and has unveiled a new teaser for the upcoming series. The trailer begins with a young Laura Ingalls narrating, "Once upon a time, Pa, and Ma, and Mary, and Laura …" Showrunner Rebecca Sonnenshine (The Housemaid, The Boys) spoke to about the adaptation and stated that this series is about "a love story about a family. They’re a family you want to be with, you want to know, you want to spend time with."

Alice Halsey has been cast as the leading role of Laura Ingalls, Luke Bracey will play the father Charles Ingalls, Crosby Fitzgerald will be playing the matriarch Caroline Ingalls, and Skywalker Hughes will play Mary Ingalls. is an American children's novel series written by Laura Ingalls Wilder, which was published between 1932 and 1943.
