is arguably the best game tied to the Harry Potter franchise that we have ever seen, bringing an entirely original story while at the same time giving long-time fans recognizable features and locations to explore. It was also hugely successful for the developer, with the game still holding its position as the third-most played single-player game on the PlayStation 5.
As such, a sequel was ordered and it's now in production, with that game set to tie the narrative directly to , which could prove to be a divisive choice among those who loved the original release.
