is finally set to debut in November, as Rockstar's latest epic is finally given over to players more than 13 years after the last game in the series. The in May is our last real hurdle to that dream, with both previous delays being announced at similar times last year.

Now, more information is emerging that should come as good news to expectant fans, particularly if you're planning to buy a console specifically to play it.
Over on Twitter/X, reliable leaker shared an insight confirming that Rockstar is planning to show the game's third trailer soon, before showing it later as part of the deal with PlayStation, in order to advertise bundles that include both the game and the console. Additionally, they also claimed worries of a third delay are unfounded, with those who have access to the Gamestop backend further claiming that pre-orders will go live soon.
Detective Seeds previously confirmed the marketing deal between back in September 2026, way ahead of time, so there's plenty of hope that they are as accurate in this prediction. Given that the PC version of the game is going to be delayed until some time after the console version, it's little surprise that PlayStation thinks GTA VI could be a great vehicle to sell more hardware as well.
Fans in the responses were speculating on what exactly those bundles are going to look like, with one , "Really curious to see if Sony will continue what they did with the other bundles, namely that we pay the price of the console but not the game or if GTA is so big that the price of the bundle will include the $70 of the game + console."

Others weren't willing to let potential pre-orders assuage their worries, , "Whether the game does or doesn’t get delayed, I have no idea, but this wouldn’t matter. I’ve had games pre-ordered for years that keep getting delayed lol. They just change the date on the listing."
As mentioned earlier, if GTA VI is to stick to its November release date then things should start moving relatively quickly from here. If things are still quiet as summer starts drawing to a close, then it really might be time to start planning for a world where the game doesn't arrive in 2026 either.
