ScreenRant is hosting an early SCREENX screening for the upcoming Lionsgate film about the life of Michael Jackson, The biopic follows the King of Pop from his childhood in the Jackson Five to his adulthood wowing audiences with his unique dance moves and singing style. The film , son of Michael’s older brother Jermaine Johnson, in the titular role, with supporting cast members Colman Domingo (Joe Jackson), Nia Long (Katherine Jackson), Miles Teller (John Branca), and Laura Harrier (Suzanne de Passe).
Michael is directed by Antoine Fuqua who is known for both his action films like Training Day and the Equalizer trilogy and his documentaries on Muhammad Ali and the L.A. Lakers. He also has experience directing music videos for Toni Braxton, Prince, Stevie Wonder, and more. This music experience is sure to come in handy for the from "I'll Be There" and "I Want You Back" to "Beat It" and "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough".
