To celebrate April Fool’s Day, Marvel and Topps are launching a celebration of one of comics’ biggest jokesters, . For over 30 years, the Merc With a Mouth has blazed a trail of chaos and carnage across the Marvel Universe, all the while slinging quips and one-liners rivaling those of Spider-Man.

Skilled in a variety of weapons as well as hand-to-hand combat techniques, Deadpool is one of Marvel’s deadliest, but funny, assassins.

The past decade has been kind to Deadpool. Topps, one of the premier manufacturers of trading cards, is getting in on the act with a new line commemorating the violent, but hilarious, world Wade Wilson works and fights in. And the best part is: these cards are available now, and ScreenRant is pleased to offer a first look at these gorgeous collectibles.

Topps has provided a first look at some of the cards making up its new Deadpool collection, shared above. The cards feature a mixture of scenes from Deadpool’s various film outings, mixed in with other cards spotlighting characters such as Cable, Sabretooth and Peter, Deadpool’s friend. Topps is going deep into Deadpool’s past.

And it would not be a trading card line without premium chase cards as well. Topps has revealed that the line will feature sketch cards as well as some with autographs by actors. In the first look provided by Topps, fans can see the design of the autograph cards, featuring signatures by Dafne Keen and Josh Brolin, both of whom have starred in Deadpool’s movies. The 100-card set will be available at noon Eastern Standard Time, on the EQL platform.

Deadpool is one of comics’ most popular characters. His zippy one-liners and continual breaking of the fourth wall have endeared him to legions of fans for generations, and now Topps has crafted the ultimate celebration for Wade Wilson. The cards are stunning in design, perfectly capturing Deadpool’s vibe and swagger. Topps also acknowledges that Deadpool has one of comics' best supporting casts, and gives them cards as well.

Although it may be hard to believe, at one point, nearly every major movie and TV program received a line of trading cards. In the 1980s, it was not unusual to see cards for not only Star Wars, but Alf and even Growing Pains as well. While this may not be the case today, companies such as Topps are still producing high-quality collectibles that give fans a cool way to commemorate their favorite characters.
